Default Attributes Question

Here's something I haven't found clarification on elsewhere: can one adjust their character's attributes up or down during leveling, or can they adjust them any time while in a town (within the limits of their aquired totals)? It would be awesome if one could pop into town and boost an attribute (by dropping another down) while heading into an area that requires skills that rely on certain attributes. It doesn't seem realistic, but it would be great.

Thanks!

You can adjust them however you like while in a town.

When you're out of town fighting stuff, you can spend unused points, but you can't pull points out of an attribute.

Yes you can bring them up or down in a town but when you're out of an outpost or town you can only SPEND unused points and not take them back.

Oh man, eliminating Refund Points was the best updat ever. Although I do occasionally miss being able to switch it up in the field, I definitely DO NOT miss having to crounge up refund points just to switch build.

That definitely stands as #1 in my book of favorite updates. Wasn't it like 200xp per Refund Point? I remember being so annoyed because I'd be out of refund points when on a farming build, then a guildie would ask for help with a mission, and I couldn't go because of being unable to switch builds. (It's like "Sure I'll help, but I'll need about a half-hour to farm enough refund points to switch.")

Ugh, good times...
